Today, February 4, is the first day voters can apply for and vote with a vote-by-mail ballot in the March primary election — one of several upcoming deadlines as we head towards March 5.
To help you keep things straight, LA School Report has made a handy schedule of the important election dates voters should remember:
February 19, 2013 (Tuesday): The last day to register to vote in the March primary election. Go here to register to vote online.
February 26, 2013 (Tuesday): The last day to apply by mail for a vote-by-mail ballot in the March primary election.
March 4, 2013 (Monday): The last day to drop off a vote-by-mail ballot at the Los Angeles City Clerk’s election division office.
March 5, 2013 (Tuesday): Primary election day. It’s also the last day to drop off a vote-by-mail ballot at any polling place by closing time at 8:00 p.m.
