Manhattan Beach school district, LAUSD honored on Earth Day by U.S. Department of Education
LAUSD’s efforts to incorporate sustainability into students’ education helped earn it the honor. Each school in the district has a Coordinated School Health Wellness Committee, which promotes student health and well-being with representatives from physical, health, counseling and psychological services.
