One election’s not even over before the next one begins. Candidates have to declare their intent to run in the March 2013 municipal elections with the city clerk’s office. this week.  So far in District 2, candidates include Michelle “Hope” Walker, Robert D. Skeels, Mónica García (the incumbent and sitting school board president), Eleanor García, and Isabel Vazquez. In District 6, soon to be vacated by Nury Martinez, the declared candidates are Marilyn Grunwald, Maria Cano, and Jerry M. Baker. No candidate has yet filed paperwork for District 4 — not even the incumbent, Steve Zimmer, who is likely waiting until after today’s election. Also expected to file for District 4 are Jeneen Robinson and Kate Anderson.
