News broke this week that Apple Computer has been using a bizarre web of off-shore companies to avoid paying billions of dollars in taxes.
LA Times columnist Steve Lopez has been wondering about the wisdom of Superintendent John Deasy’s proposal to give every student or teacher a tablet computer (which may or may not mean iPads). Will the latest negative publicity hurt Apple’s chances of selling to LAUSD and other districts?
