With only three days to go before the March 5 election, School Board candidates are hitting the pavement all over Los Angeles this weekend, hunting for votes. But judging from their campaign websites, some are more active than others.

In downtown’s District 2, School Board President Monica Garcia is asking volunteers to sign up for a dawn to dusk GOTV (get out the vote) effort between now and Tuesday. One of her four opponents, Robert Skeels is holding an all day precinct walk on Saturday in South Central. No campaign events are listed on the websites of the three other candidates, Annamarie Montanez, Abelardo Diaz and Isabel Vazquez.

In Westside’s District 4, School Board incumbent Steve Zimmer is holding an all day GOTV (get out the vote) rally on Saturday in West Hollywood, while his opponent, Kate Anderson is asking volunteers to do the same from now until election from her headquarters in Mar Vista.  In District 6, which covers the East San Fernando Valley none of the three candidates, Antonio Sanchez, Maria Cano or Monica Ratliff list any upcoming campaign events on their websites. Stay tuned.
