Bomb threat causes evacuation of Palisades Charter HS campus

A possible bomb threat today that targeted Palisades Charter High School caused officials to evacuate the campus and suspend voting at an election polling place there, according to multiple reports.

The threat was made via social media, and a bomb squad was sent to the campus at 15777 Bowdoin St. in Pacific Palisades after authorities became aware of the threat around 8:30 a.m., according to City News Service

The school may reopen if the bomb squad does not find anything, and students have in the meantime been moved to Temescal Canyon Park, according to NBC Los AngelesVoters are being directed to the Los Angeles Fire Department Station #69 at 15045 Sunset Blvd.

* The school was ruled safe by authorities and classes resumed shortly after 12 p.m., according to CBS Los Angeles.
