Check back here at 1pm PST today to watch live coverage of today’s LA Unified School Board meeting.  On the agenda (in addition to the censure motion of school board president who has accused of sexual harassment, and the future of the iPad rollout) are a number of renewals and approvals of various charter schools, including:
Ánimo Avalon Charter Middle School, Math and Science College Preparatory – East
PUC Inspire Charter Academy
Westside Innovative School House Secondary Charter

Meanwhile the district is recommending the denial of the charter for ICEF Vista Business and Finance Academy, and conditional suspension of the Charter Revocation Process for Garr Academy of Mathematics and Entrepreneurial Studies.

In addition, the board will consider charter petitions from a number of new charters including:
Community Preparatory Academy
Summit Charter Middle School
TEACH Tech Charter High School
W.E.S.T Academic Leadership Academy
YPI Valley Public Charter High School
