The United Way of Greater Los Angeles — which has been active on issues such as the use of student test scores as part of teacher evaluations — is planning to hold a candidate forum for each School Board race:

The first forum, for the Westside’s District 4, will be held on January 24 at the Venice Boys and Girls Club (see flyer here).

The second, for the East Valley’s District 6, will be held on January 31 at the Boys and Girls Club of San Fernando Valley (see flyer here).

A third forum, in East LA’s District 2, is tentatively set for February 13, with a location to be determined. [The LA-32 Neighborhood Council is also holding a candidates forum in District 2 on February 11 (see flyer here).]
